Lemon Basil Vinaigrette
This bright and fresh Lemon Basil Dressing is my all-time favorite summer salad dressing. Made with just five ingredients (fresh basil, garlic, lemon, olive oil, and salt), it’s incredibly simple to make and one of the best ways to enjoy an abundance of fragrant summer basil.
It’s wonderful on salads and sandwiches, or served as a dip with sourdough bread (my favorite).
Lemon Basil Viniagrette
Makes about 3/4 cup of dressing
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh basil
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp kosher salt
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil
To make:
To a food processor or blender, add the basil, garlic, salt, and lemon juice and blend to combine.
While the machine is still running, slowly stream in the olive oil and blend until the dressing is emulsified.
Keep refrigerated in an airtight jar for up to 3 days.
