Iced Peach Matcha Latte
Sweet, juicy peaches and bright, rich matcha pair perfectly in this summery Peach Matcha Latte. Made with just peaches, matcha, and milk, this simple yet sophisticated drink is the perfect morning beverage or afternoon pick-me-up.
How to Make a Peach Matcha Latte
Matcha is super simple to prepare. Bring 1/4 cup of water to a boil and let sit for a minute to cool slightly (you'll want to avoid pouring boiling water directly on the matcha as it may burn it). Add 1 1/2 tsp matcha to a mug or small bowl. Using a matcha whisk, handheld milk frother, or even a fork, stir a couple of tablespoons of the hot water and whisk vigorously until the matcha is completely dissolved. Then stir in the rest of the hot water.
To make the iced latte, pour 1/4 cup of peach puree into the bottom of an ice-filled glass. Then add 3/4 cup milk of your choice. Top with the matcha and add sweetener if you'd like. Mix it up and enjoy right away. So delicious!

Iced Peach Matcha Latte
Makes 1 latte (about 8 oz)
Ingredients:
1-2 ripe peaches, blended until smooth (or about 1/4 cup peach puree)
1 tsp matcha
1/4 cup hot water
3/4 cup milk of your choice (I used oat)
Honey or maple syrup to sweeten (optional)
To make:
Make the peach puree. Peel the peaches and remove the pits, then add to a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth.
Prep the matcha. Bring 1/4 cup of hot water to a boil, then let it sit for 1-2 minutes to cool (to avoid scorching the matcha). Add the matcha to a mug or small bowl. Then use a matcha whisk, handheld milk frother, or even a fork to stir in a couple of tablespoons of the hot water. Whisk vigorously until the matcha is completely dissolved, then stir in the rest of the hot water. Set aside.
Fill a glass with ice, then pour in the peach puree. Next, add the milk and top off with the matcha, adding maple syrup or honey to sweeten if you’d like. Stir it up and enjoy!!
