Gingerbread Hot Chocolate

Warm up on a chilly winter night with a steaming mug of this comforting Gingerbread Hot Chocolate! Ginger, cinnamon, and other cozy spices transform a simple hot chocolate into a cozy gingerbread drink that’s perfect for the winter season.

This recipe calls for cacao powder for an added boost of nutrition, but feel free to use regular cocoa powder (not hot chocolate mix) instead. I’ve also found that coconut sugar is the perfect sweetener for this recipe, since it adds a richer, nuttier flavor than regular sugar which makes it taste even more like real gingerbread. However, if you don’t have coconut sugar on hand, please feel free to add some brown sugar or maple syrup instead.
