Purple Cheese Board
For my Midsummer Night’s Dream-inspired tea party feast, I wanted to create a magical cheese board that fit with the evening woodland theme, so I created the concept for this whimsical Purple Cheese Board! Featuring homemade purple hummus, cheese, grapes, purple carrots, and more, this dreamy cheeseboard is a wonderful colorful and delicious appetizer for your next gathering.
Purple Cheese Board
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
½ cup Purple Carrot Hummus or hummus of your choice
Purple cheese wedge, cut into slices (I used Toscano Syrah Cheese from Trader Joe’s)
Small wheel of soft cheese of your choice (such as brie)
Assorted grapes (I used a mix of black and red grapes)
Purple carrots
Blackberries
Cherries
Blueberries
Pomegranate seeds
Rosemary and edible flowers for garnish
To make:
Scoop the hummus into a small bowl and place on the board. Arrange the sliced cheese and small wheel of cheese on the board, followed by the grapes and purple carrots.
Next, add clusters of blackberries and cherries onto different spots on the board. Fill in any empty spaces with blueberries and pomegranate seeds, and then add rosemary and edible flowers for garnish.
These Cranberry Kombucha Mocktails are the perfect simple and festive drink for your next holiday party.
