This dreamy Rose Facial Mist is the magic elixir you need to get through these sauna-like summer heat waves we’ve been experiencing lately. It takes just minutes to make, and it’s infused with delicate-but-powerful botanical ingredients to keep you cool and soothe your skin.

The original inspiration behind this facial mist came from Lily Diamond’s incredible Mint Awakening Spritz recipe from her Kale and Caramel cookbook. I love how her recipe maximizes the invigorating, revitalizing properties of mint using only a handful of simple ingredients. So, I was inspired to make my own version with fresh roses!

At its most elemental level, this Rose Facial Mist is so refreshing to spritz on your face and body on a hot summer day. It’s kept in the fridge to preserve the ingredients while also keeping it cold and ready to mist at any time. Plus, it smells amazing

Aside from its gorgeous scent, rose provides many skin-nourishing benefits as an ingredient. It’s known for its natural anti-inflammatory properties, making it excellent for soothing redness, irritation, and acne (all of which are common in the summer heat).

Geranium essential oil has antibacterial, antimicrobial, and sebum-balancing properties. It’s also wonderful for helping soothe acne and irritation.

This Rose Facial Mist will keep fresh in the fridge for up to three days. Spritz it on your face and body whenever you want to cool off and nourish your skin!
