Lavender Moon Milk
Made with aromatic, relaxing lavender as the star ingredient, this comforting moon milk is wonderful for winding down before bed. I find this drink very calming as is, but feel free to add a scoop of reishi powder or another sleep-supporting adaptogen to this drink if you’d like a little extra boost!
Lavender Moon Milk
Makes 1 cup of moon milk
Ingredients:
4 oz filtered water
1 tsp dried lavender (food grade)
2-3 dried butterfly pea flowers for color (optional)
4 oz milk of your choice
1 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
To make:
Bring the water up to a boil and pour over the lavender and butterfly pea flowers, if using. Steep for 10-15 minutes, depending on how strong you’d like to drink the be, and strain out the herbs.
Heat the milk in a separate jar, then add the syrup and vanilla extract. Whisk with a fork or milk frother.
Pour the milk over the tea and stir to combine.
