Lavender Vanilla Syrup

Each spring, I always find myself craving lavender drinks—I love the uplifting floral taste this time of year! Lavender Vanilla Syrup is one of my favorite ways to add lavender flavor to my favorite drinks. My favorite way to enjoy it is in matcha lattes, but it’s also delicious in coffee and black tea.

Lavender Vanilla Syrup

Makes about 1 1/4 cups syrup

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • ¼ cup blueberries (for color)

  • 2 tbsp lavender

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

To make:

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat.

  2. Once gently simmering, turn off the heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Strain out the solids and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one month.
