Wondering what to do with all that leftover pumpkin puree from fall recipes? I have just the DIY for you! :)
This simple, 3-ingredient Pumpkin Face Mask is an amazing autumn self care DIY for all skin types. Made with pumpkin, honey, and cinnamon, this mask helps gently exfoliate, hydrate, and revitalize the skin. Here are some of the benefits of each ingredient:
Pumpkin - Contains enzymes and vitamin C, which help naturally exfoliate and hydrate the skin while treating acne and hyperpigmentation.
Raw honey - Helps the skin absorb and retain moisture, and contains natural antioxidants that help repair and protect the skin.
Cinnamon - Has antimicrobial and astringent properties, making it an excellent ingredient for treating acne and helping smooth the skin.
To use this face mask, simply mix the ingredients together and apply a thin layer to the face, avoiding the eye area. Relax and leave on the skin for 10-15 minutes, then rinse well to remove.
After mixing together the ingredients, you can store this face mask in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Enjoy!!
